What stays on your computer
Unredacted frames, which are held in memory and never saved or uploaded.
Your Meta key, encrypted with your system keychain.
Your history, unless you back it up with Pro, encrypted.
What gets painted over
Every frame is read on your computer, and API keys, tokens, .env lines and password managers are painted over with solid boxes before anything can leave. Redaction is automatic and can miss things. Keep anything you'd never share off screen while you record.
What goes to Meta
